Family Sea Kayak Tour

The slower pace of this tour is perfect for families with children ages 7 and older. You’ll enjoy some of the same highlights as our other trips, but we’ll add in some kid-focused fun and we’ll leave plenty of time for kayak skill-building, wildlife-spotting and breaks along the way. All children younger than 12 must paddle in a tandem kayak with an adult, so please make sure that there is at least one adult in your group for each younger child.

-Picturesque views of Portland and it’s surrounding islands
-Possible sightings of seals, eider ducks, guillemots, osprey, eagles and all sorts of seabirds
-Roughly two hours of slow to moderate-paced sea kayaking; appropriate for novices
– Only children 7 and older may join due to safety considerations related to the size of our kayaks and other factors.
-Possible splashing and dripping during the paddle — you may get slightly damp or wet.
