*If there’s not enough snow, we’ll hike the trails instead. We only cancel if Thunder or Lightening is present.
Event Type: Outdoor Activity – Easy, touring ski over some of the Pineland Farms ski trails under the full moon.
Location: Outdoor Center – 25 Campus Dr. New Gloucester, ME
Fee: $20 per person (includes ski rental) or $10 per person if you bring your own skis
Registration: Pre-registration encouraged.
Who: Open to all ages. Must be an intermediate or better skier and able to ski over various terrain in snow for 6+ miles within the time frame.
Description: Bring some friends or family and join us for a full moon Ski. We will be skiing at an easy pace, leaving from the Pineland Farms Outdoor & Fitness Center. We will return and enjoy a lit firepit with great views of the Full Moon and the surrounding stars.
We leave the Outdoor Center promptly at 6:10 (Jan & Feb), and 7:10 in March.
Needed Gear: Winter boots, snow jackets and pants (layers preferred), hat and gloves, headlamp recommended.
