All our shucking classes are taught by an aquaculture enthusiasts who have all spent time on an oyster farm! Classes are kept at a maximum of 12 to ensure everyone gets 1 on 1 shucking instruction! Each class Includes:
-Step by Step hands on instruction
-Overview on the Maine oyster & local farming methods
-12 Maine oysters per person (multi farm variety)
-Oyster toppings include cocktail sauce, lemon, horseradish, hot sauce & mignonette!
*Shucking knife/gloves provided for use during class.
-Summer classes can be held inside or outside on our backyard oasis!
-Additional food/oysters and fun take home merchandise is always available.
-Private classes can be booked upon request.
-Payment for class is due at sign up – but we have a SUPER flexible cancellation policy:)
