New Year’s Day Sunrise Paddle

Join us for a two hour journey into the peaceful waters of Casco Bay! The group will paddle past the Spring Point Lighthouse, and then either along the shoreline towards Portland Head Light or across the channel to Cushing and House islands. Catch views of birds and wildlife not present at other times of year, as well as historic forts and lighthouses!

Portland Paddle will provide drysuits, warm drinks, hand protection, and neoprene booties for your feet. We suggest wearing warm, non-cotton layers underneath your drysuit such as wool or flreece; avoid baggy clothing. We plan to run this trip as long as the waters in Casco Bay are fairly calm.
