PLAY YOUR WAY: NEW YEAR’S EVER INDOOR BEACH PARTY: 9 AM TO 10 AM
CMTM’s Indoor Beach Party begins at 10 am for the general public. Play Your Way participants are welcome to stay past 10 am but note that it will become busy and noisy throughout the building.
Play Your Way is a special playtime for anyone who would benefit from a quieter, low-key play session at the Children’s Museum & Theatre of Maine (CMTM), designed for families affected by Autism, Sensory Processing Disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, or other challenges.
This morning, celebrate the new year with a special indoor seaside celebration! Meet real sea creatures like sea stars and anemones, create a sea star wand in the Makerspace, and have a summer-themed snack. Countdown to 2024 with a special Sea Star Drop in Maddy’s Theatre. Play Your Way offers families the opportunity to explore the Museum & Theatre, meet other families with similar experiences, and see if CMTM is the right fit for you and your family.
Play Your Way sessions are FREE, thanks to a generous sponsorship by The Miller Foundation, Mascoma Bank, & Sara Gideon.
