MAINE TOURISM CAREER CENTER
The Maine Center Coalition brought to you by the Maine Tourism Association, HospitalityMaine, Maine Summer Camps, Ski Maine, Maine Campground Owners Association, and Maine State Golf Association is proud to announce the launch of a new tourism industry career center.
This will be a central resource for all of Maine’s tourism-related positions, including full-time, part-time, and seasonal jobs, internships, and apprenticeships.
Of the many goals for this center, the main hope is to address the workforce crisis and show everything the tourism industry has to offer in one place.
STATEWIDE DESTINATION MANAGEMENT PLAN
The Maine office of Tourism has issued a Destination Management Plan in order to position Maine as a premier travel destination. The goal of this project is to create a clear five-year strategic plan that focuses on Maine’s recovery from the pandemic and establishes a solid foundation and direction for future growth. The Office of Tourism and the Corragio Group will be in each region for listening sessions designed to bring stakeholders and residents together to establish benchmarks that support destination stewardship and balance our industry’s growth with residential quality of life.
