CONGRATULATIONS ED PALMER
Congratulations to Ed Palmer, General Manager of the Sheraton at Sable Oaks, for his retirement this month. Ed spent 42 years with Ocean Properties and 26 serving on the Visit Portland board. We are grateful for the dedication that Ed has provided to our organization and wish him a successful, fun-filled retirement.
CONDOLENCES
We are sad to share the passing of Bob Smith. Bob was best known as the Lighthouse Keeper, watching over his guests at Sebasco Harbor Resort for over 24 years, a role for which he was recognized by the New England Inns & Resorts Association with the coveted Master of New England Innkeeping Lifetime Achievement Award.
For those close to Bob, there will be a celebration of his life at DiMillo’s on the Water in Portland.
Oct. 21 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
