Kate McDonough Headshot

We are thrilled to announce that Kate McDonough has been promoted to Chief Business Officer at Visit Portland. Since joining us in 2019, Kate has shown exceptional dedication to our organization and our partners, consistently going above and beyond to drive success.

In her new role, Kate will oversee our business operations, covering everything from partner services and business development to organizational connectivity. She’ll work closely with all our teams to ensure that our goals align with our vision and mission, collaborating with our CEO to set targets and develop growth strategies.

Kate’s leadership will be key as we move into the next phase of innovation and expansion at Visit Portland. Please join us in congratulating Kate on this well-deserved promotion.

City Loop Shuttle Update

This year, the City Loop Shuttle will be continung hop-on, hop-off service, with a few changes. To cover transportation costs, passengers will need to pay a fee for the shuttle. We have clearly communicated that this service is not a tour but strictly a means of transportation.

We have also developed a map that highlights the different areas of our community and what visitors can experience at each stop. Additionally, it indicates where many tours begin.

In addition to the shuttle service, the Visit Portland staff are actively monitoring a Community Feedback Hotline. This hotline allows both visitors and residents to share their feedback, complaints, compliments, and suggestions. The insights we gather from this feedback will help us identify and address potential issues proactively, ensuring that we manage concerns effectively before they escalate.
