PASSENGER TRAFFIC

  • History of traffic growth over the years grew 30% from 2014 – 1019
  • 2019 the jetport saw historic numbers of 2.18 million people through the airport
  • 2020 dropped to only 792,000 passengers
  • All time low from Covid, April 14, 2020 – down 97% 
  • 2021 YTD down 50% in passenger compared to traffic from 2019 (summer should close this gap)

NON-STOP DESTINATIONS / # OF PASSENGER SEATS TO MARKET

  • Increased over the years from 13 destinations to 21 destinations in 2019
  • 2021 is seeing positive increases, now 30 non-stop destinations for this season  (list of all non-stop destinations 10:45 minutes in video)
  • 2019 saw 1.3 million seats arriving in market
  • 2020 saw 473,000 seats arriving in market
  • Expecting 1.2 million seats arriving in market this season

# OF AIRLINES SERVICING PORTLAND

  • Increases over the years from 5 air carriers to 8 in 2019
  • 2021 jetport will have 9 carriers (American 29%, United 21%, Delta 21%, Southwest 15%, Frontier 8%, Jetblue 4%, Sun Country 1%, Elite .5%, Cape Air .5%)
  • 2019 had 14,206 flight arrivals & departures
  • 2020 had 4,973 flight arrivals & departures
  • 13,626 flight arrivals & departures on the books for the 2021 season

The Jetport has undergone a new branding campaign and focusing their efforts targeting the direct flight cities!
