Submit Your Board Nomination

The existing Visit Portland board has voted to restructure based on the newly formed Portland Tourism Development District (PTDD).  According to the updated bylaws, the new governing board will consist of a voting majority of PTDD paying hotel partners and the balance from non-PTDD paying partners of Visit Portland in good standing. The board will also include a non-voting, ex-officio member, as assigned by the Portland City Manager.

We are seeking a total of 11 board members.  (6 Portland PTDD hotel representatives and 5 non-hotel representatives) The terms of office are for two (2) years and meetings will be conducted monthly as we work together to navigate setting up the district, establishing a strategic plan, implementing a marketing plan, and working to ensure that Visit Portland has the necessary support and tools it needs to oversee the programming and management of the district funds and the Visit Portland budget.

All nominees MUST be an owner, general manager, or a decision maker on behalf of your business. This board will be a working board and we look forward to rolling up our shirtsleeves together to make this a successful endeavor.
